Terra's beach landing goes well.
The Terra Marique successfully completed her first beach landing earlier this month when the 2211 tonnes specialist barge was grounded at Gelliswick Bay nr Milford Haven in South Wales.
The government sponsored vessel was delivering two 80 tonnes and 7 meter wide compressors for use within the Esso 's LNG plant.
The Terra Marique was specifically strengthened to allow her to safely beach land and her design and ramp arrangements reduce the need for costly and potentially damaging earthworks.
