Robert Wynn and Sons sign Terra Marique contract
Robert Wynn and Sons have signed the contract for the construction of the Terra Marique following final approval from the Department of Transport. The Dutch Shipyard, Damen, have been awarded the contract following a tender process involving the successful tenderers and three UK shipyards. Both Robert Wynn and Sons and the Government's independent consultants were satisfied that Damen's bid offered a versatile, technically advanced and commercially tested vessel that met the demanding criteria set out by the project team. The vessel is due to be delivered in October 2003.
