Petrochemical equipment from Waterston to Pembroke

The Terra Marique has been successfully grounded at the specialist barge berth at the Waterston Oil Refinery in Pembrokeshire, South Wales to facilitate the loading of a number of pieces of large petrochemical equipment destined for the Far East.

The Terra Marique only carried the pieces the first leg of the journey, offloading at the nearby port of Pembroke.

Due to the high tidal rage at the specialist barge berth there was a limited window of operation for this project. The Terra Marique successfully carried out a succession of 4 voyages. The challenge, which demonstrated the flexibility of the Terra Marique, was met and all equipment was safely offloaded at Pembroke Docks.

Following the successful completion of this project the Terra Marique departed for Rotterdam where her next cargo is to be loaded.
