CARGO OFFLOADED, THE TERRA MARIQUE HEADS BACK TO GOOLE
Robert Wynn & Sons Terra Marique successfully offloaded her 400 tonne cargo at EDF's Cottam power station earlier this week
The cargo, consisting of a 270 tonne transformer and its 130 tonnes trailer, rolled-off the specialist heavy lift barge onto a recently constructed berth. The operation went as planned and lasted just over 5 hours.
Following the successful discharge, the Terra Marique left Cottam on Thursday and sailed to back up river to Gainsborough. She passed through Gainsborough historic Road Bridge just before 08 00 on Friday morning.
The Terra Marique will be leaving the Gainsborough area on Saturday May 22nd, resuming her voyage to Goole.
